“The Spirit and the Bride say, `Come!'” (Revelation 22:17 KJV).
On the very last page of God’s Word, one of the last things that God makes known is that He desires total oneness with you! This is God’s ultimate goal; the total oneness between God the Holy Spirit and the Bride of Christ, which is the Church, a corporate Bride, including you and me and all born-again believers. Here we see the result of a lifetime lived in fellowship with God, union with God. Like a loving couple that have lived as man and wife for an entire lifetime, they get to know one another so well, that often, when they say something, they say it together, simultaneously. Like a well trained duet, they harmonize perfectly, speaking the same words, in the same way, at the same time.
That is how God wants to live in you and bring you to live in Him, so that whenever you say something, it will be the Holy Spirit saying it in you, through you, with you and unto the glory of the Father!
Likewise, whenever the Holy Spirit says something, you will be saying it in the Holy Spirit, through the Holy Spirit, with the Holy Spirit and unto the glory of the Father!
Only thus can we faithfully and successfully preach the Gospel and invite sinners to “Come!”
Only thus can God speak in our speaking.
Only thus can we speak in God’s speaking.
You and God will simply say it together, “Come!”
Let us pray:
“Loving Father, it melts my heart to realize that it is Your desire to bring me into total oneness with You, my God. So be it! Lead me to read Your words prayerfully, communing with You, dialoguing with You, so that Your speaking will increasingly be in my speaking, until You and I always speak the same thing, until You and I harmonize perfectly, until what You say is what I say, until what I say is what You say!
Go with me to testify about You to the unsaved world. May You and I go together to tell the unbelievers about You.
Wow, I will be going out to preach with You! I will not be preaching alone. You will be right there with me and in me! Let’s tell them together, `Come!'”
