A Missionary Reward

RECEIVE A MISSIONARY REWARD–WITHOUT BEING A MISSIONARY!

“He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth Him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he whall in no wise lose his reward.”  (Matthew 10:40-43).

Our Lord, who even rewards you for giving a cup of water to a thirsty child, will also definitely reward you for praying for our ministry in America and abroad. Remember that he who receives a prophet, will eventually also receive a prophet’s reward. He that receives a righteous man, will eventually receive a righteous man’s award.

May I thus encourage you to pray for us and others who you know preach God’s Word? Because of your missionary prayers in our behalf and theirs, you will definitely receive THE REWARD OF A MISSIONARY!

In Ephesians 6 Paul instructs us that we have a tremendously powerful weapon against the enemy: The sword of the Holy Spirit, which is the Word of God. He also tells us that we should use it in prayer. This being so, go ahead, forge a mighty sword, a mighty prayer, out of Matthew 10:40-43 quoted above. Wield this sword and use it right now. How? BY PRAYING IT!

Would you join me in prayer? If so, let us pray as follows:

Thank You Father, for showing me that whenever I am welcoming another Christian, I am also welcoming Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And when I welcome Him, I am also welcoming You Father. It was You who sent Your Son to this earth. I also thank You for showing me that if I welcome one of Your ministers because he is Your man, a man of God, You will give me the same reward that one of Your ministers gets. And if I welcome good and godly people because of their godliness, You will give me a reward like theirs. I also pray for the ones you are sending today to proclaim You in this world, I pray for Your missionaries. I pray for Fred and Ann Malir. I feel assured, according to what is now dawning upon me, that by praying so, I will also receive the reward of a missionary. You are carefully keeping records of every good deed I do, even a cup of water given to a thirsty child. Nothing escapes Your attention. Every good deed done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter how small, You will reward. If You had not promised this, I frankly could not have believed it. But because You promised it and You cannot lie, I joyfully believe it and receive it. Thank You with all my heart. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Updates from Cuba

Starting in the 1990’s Fred was significantly involved with Cuba.  The Lord has continued to move strongly in Cuba through many brothers and sisters in Christ including some key workers who Fred helped to disciple.  Since 2009, a project to evangelize the whole country has reached many Cubans with many new believers added to the house of God.  The work is ongoing to evangelize the entire island country.
